Do you know what Anabolism is? Anabolism is the part of your metabolism that constructs components of cells such as proteins and nucleic acids. It does this by using the energy that has been previously loaded into your system from your food. To quicken it, you can add some body mass through exercise, or you can simply eat specially chosen foods to boost metabolism. You need to be able to drive the desirable but thermodynamically unfavorable reactions in your system. They are crucial to your metabolism so you must couple them into something more favorable. The enzymes in your body help to do this, and they do it better when your metabolism is faster. You should think about it for just a few seconds before you decide that is the way to go, because it is. The speed of the metabolism in your system talks almost directly to your stomach. Faster metabolism: more food; slower metabolism; less food. Although it works the other way round too. Some foods will accelerate your metabolism and others will slow it down. Your metabolic rate also influences how much food you will require on the long run. If your metabolism is too fast, you will find yourself eating much a lot of the time, yet you would not be adding weight. Conversely, a slow metabolism harms you because you get not to eat, even when you need it. So you have to watch it every step of the way. Sometimes you find that you eat but the food is out of your system in a hurry; other times you eat the same things and you are still carrying it for long hours. It takes no magic to tell then, that your metabolism has been affected for some reason. What you need to do is find out how and why, and then do something, anything, to see to it that your system is brought back up to speed.
